When I took the lease on the store that is Meantime Co. I hadn’t realized it came with exclusive access to the adjacent vacant lot. Since I began my tenancy, I have cleaned the weeds and debris, and I have replaced them with perennials, herbs, and trees. The landlord also gave permission to me to use the space as a sculpture garden. The only outdoor sculpture exhibition space of its kind in Brooklyn.
